My husband an I had an amazing time at the brewery. The beers we had were amazing an the atmosphere was top notch. I give your brewery 5 stars. It was well worth the 45 minute drive. The brewers were very nice and knowledgeable as well. - Julie
We brought the kids to Historic Cold Spring Village earlier this month during a visit to the Jersey shore. After spending the day there, I convinced the wife to let me stop in and pick up some growlers for the house. I may have stayed for a couple of samples as well! The location is pretty cool. It's a restored rustic barn on the same property as Cold Spring Village. There is plenty of room inside and out for sitting down and trying their offerings. The bar staff is very friendly, and helpful if you need help deciding where to start. I found the American Wheat and the Red.
We just went to the brewery but all their beers that they had were excellent. The people there were knowledgeable about the product and were very nice. I would definitely visit again.
Visited on a crowded rainy Saturday. Located in a barn in Cold Springs Village it is a very nice location...good ambiance. $6 dollar flight of four beers is reasonable. The service is good. I'm not a fan of most craft beers...prefer lagers and pilsners. The Cresse American Wheat is light and tasty. Most surprisingly, the Cape May Farmhouse- single malt and single hop- was excellent... whiskey drinkers will like this one. I certainly did.
The historic village combined with the brewery is a great concept. The beers are fantastic and the staff are very helpful and informative. Definitely a stop I will be making again!
The beers are brewed very traditionally. The Red is by far one of the best Irish reds I've had in all of Jersey, Pa, and Ny. No food at the brewery but there is a restaurant on the premise. And you can bring all the food you want in. Service is also top notch! Brain and Mark are great and make your experience fantastic!
